Finding Mindfulness

This weekend I finally had some time to relax. Whilst going out with my friends, one of my kids started to play with the daughters of my friends and my youngest child Gabriel  was happily wondering on his own. He started to invent some mischief by throwing stones up in the air and happily seeing them falling down. That was the moment I knew it was time to occupy him. So I took my camera and asked him if he wanted to come with me and find some insects and flowers.

We spent a blissful 30 minutes finding different creatures and plants. My son enjoyed every moment and so did I. The time I spent with my son were the best 30 minutes I’ve spent in weeks. I’ve managed to relax and forget my thoughts and pressure that I’ve felt in the last few days.
